I'm writing this review on behalf of myself and my mother, Hilary Ford who runs Waifs and Strays Cat Rescue. This is the 2nd time this year we have been extremely grateful to have these facilities and Tom's expertise available to us right on our doorstep. Our cat Dolly had a dental at another vets which unfortunately resulted in a piece of root being left in the socket. We were advised we would need to take her to a dental specialist in Winchester and the cost was going to be very high. Fortunately Tom offered us a CT scan using his state of the art equipment. Not only was he able to see the root very clearly but he was also able to remove it all in the same procedure with just the one anaesthetic and Dolly was ready for collection by lunchtime. We can't thank Tom and his team enough and would highly recommend them to anyone faced with complicated and expensive surgery for their pet. Tom is absolutely passionate about his work and gets great satisfaction seeing owners leave his premises feeling huge relief with a pet on the rd to recovery.

We recently had to take my mother’s dog, Barney, to VOAS after discovering that he had a foreign object stuck in his throat. My mother had initially sought advice from another veterinary practice and was told that Barney would require a CT scan to locate the object, which we were advised would be very expensive. Given the potential cost, I decided to seek a second opinion and contacted VOAS. From the very first phone call, the team at VOAS were incredibly helpful and reassuring, and the costs discussed seemed far more reasonable. When we arrived, we were greeted by Barbara, the practice nurse, who was absolutely lovely. She was so friendly, smiley and caring and immediately made both us and Barney feel comfortable and at ease during what was obviously a very worrying time. We then met Tom, the vet, who was equally reassuring and professional. Barney was taken through to await his scan while we went for a coffee and had what felt like a very anxious wait! A few hours later, Tom contacted us with the fantastic news that not only had they located the foreign object, but they had also successfully carried out the procedure to remove it. We honestly couldn't have asked for better service. The care, professionalism and compassion shown by Barbara, Tom and the whole team at VOAS were outstanding. To top it all off, the final cost was only a fraction of what we had originally been quoted elsewhere. Most importantly, Barney was looked after brilliantly and we were kept reassured throughout the whole experience. A huge thank you to Barbara, Tom and everyone at VOAS. We are extremely grateful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a caring, professional and reasonably priced veterinary practice. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-star service from start to finish. When my cat, Milo, was hit by a car, the initial X-rays didn’t show any obvious injuries, but his symptoms suggested something wasn’t right. We were referred to Tom and his team at VOAS, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. Tom was incredibly knowledgeable, and the technology available at the practice is outstanding. A CT scan revealed hairline fractures and small bone splinters that hadn’t been visible on the X-rays. Because of this accurate diagnosis, Tom was able to avoid unnecessary surgery, and Milo required six weeks of cage rest instead. Just eight weeks later, Milo was back outside, jumping, climbing, and behaving as though nothing had ever happened. Having such a clear diagnosis and treatment plan gave us enormous peace of mind throughout his recovery. To top it all off, the fees were much more affordable than we had expected and compared very favourably with other specialist practices. VOAS offers exceptional expertise, state-of-the-art technology, and excellent value for money. I can’t recommend Tom and the entire team at VOAS highly enough. If your pet needs specialist care, they are absolutely the people to trust.

My young kitty broke her leg and the minute I walked through the door with her I felt at ease and completely confident that she was in good hands. The whole process was smooth and well organised. The communication was superb through out and I felt that they genuinely cared and understood her even though she's a super spicy kitty. A special thanks to Tom, Louis and Barbara 🙏🙏🙏 I was so grateful to be recommended VOAS and would 100% recommend them if your fur babies need surgery.

Our Goose had many of trips to these guys, the tech and equipment they have is second to none the care Goose got was top class they are the most caring friendly and informative vets you could ask for, I cannot speak highly enough of them all

Dr Sale although knowledgeable came across as arrogant, dismissing previous diagnoses without adding his own. Not worth the money and effort spent visiting him. Found better support at my local vet.
