Took my Dachshund x Pug to Vets4Pets Ashley Road because she had developed a nasty skin rash. No tests were done and I was just told it was a yeast infection and allergies. Eighteen months later she was still suffering after numerous visits and I was still told it was yeast and allergies. I decided to take her to another vets and they took samples and did skin tests and it was not a yeast infection or allergies. They prescribed antibiotics and thankfully now she’s recovering at long last. The new vets did more for us in a week than Vets4Pets did for us in eighteen months so if you care for your pets don’t use them.

Took my pet in with concerns about tummy issues, Holes Bay. Suggested an x-ray and blood tests but my suggestions were dismissed. I insisted on blood tests, and it turned out my pet had other issues I wouldn't have known about had I not asked for a blood test. I was sent away with gut meds and no advice or treatment for the other symptoms. Decided to try Ashley Rd, Poole for a second opinion and was told there's no concerns. I had to bring my pet back in as an emergency and the vet did not treat it as such and was uninterested, lacked empty and was not in a hurry to even try to help my pet. The vet watched my pet die in pain, only to tell me after the fact that the best thing would have been to put my pet down. If you love your pets, PLEASE do not bring them to this demonic veterinary practice to suffer neglect, they deserve only the best.

I had my first experience of this vet yesterday. My cat is 20 years old and is looking at palliative care. The vet was absolutely fabulous. Did not push me into anything, was incredibly kind and really listened to me. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back there. Particular shout out to Hannah that saw my cat. She was just a delight and highly professional.

Don’t come here if you care about your pets. When taking my 1yr old 5.5kg Pomeranian for a vaccine the vet decided to take my dog to a private room and wrap a towel around his head. She also suggested I pinch him to prepare him for further vaccines in the future! Ever since he has been incredibly nervous and clearly has trauma. I went into Vets4Pets with my complete trust, thinking they would treat my dog with the upmost care, but I was wrong. I’m deeply saddened and upset by this practice and will avoid this chain all together now. It’s heartbreaking that this vet is in a position of power, when all she does is clearly abuse it. The receptionists are not friendly either. I recommend you avoid this place.
