It was really easy to book an emergency appointment, and the team were great with my dog, Nina. They took good care of her and clearly advised us on the best next steps, which was very reassuring. I was very impressed with the service and how well she was looked after.

I cannot say enough positive things about MediVet Poole and the team there. I took my senior dog in who suffers from seizures and was having a bad cluster. From the moment I called and spoke to them to walking in, and even after I had left when I called with a question, they were nothing but kind, calming and patient. I would recommend the practise to anyone locally as a regular vet and if it’s out of hours I would recommend to anyone within BCP.

Last night we had to take my parents dog into the out of hours service as he had very swollen sore eyes, we were seen very promptly by Rebecca and sian who were both so lovely and patient with Reg who's unfortunately not the most easy patient to deal with. They were so friendly and accommodating I would definitely recommend them. Thank you again ladies. 💓

I was placed in the horrid position of having to take my beloved cat here on a Sunday evening when she suddenly became ill without warning. She was seen by the vet within minutes and we were kept up to date. Sadly she had saddle thrombus, and I was forced to make the decision to have my best friend of 15 years put to sleep. The vet was very understanding, very clearly explained what was happening and gave a clear prognosis which helped guide that decision in such a short space of time. She allowed my cats whole family to say goodbye and be surrounded by the people she loved most in the world and then give her the quiet, dignified end she deserved with me by her side. My heart is broken, but my best friend was able to cross the rainbow bridge without knowing suffering til the very end or her happy life with us. Thank you for giving that to her. I'll miss her forever, but ill always be able to remember her at her strongest, bossiest and lovliest.

The vet was great! Knowledgeable, caring and empathetic. Reception lady also lovely. Thank-you for helping my dog! Easy to book last minute appointment too. We were in the area on holiday so it was a bit stressful but I’m happy to say Teddy is doing much better and even enjoyed an open-top bus journey to Swanage!

Great care was taken and I felt confident they would be cared for. I have had cats and logs all my life so have been to a few vets and I have say these guys were great. I was recommended by 2 friends and having had my share of vets visits I was keen to register her as they had overnight care and offered a 24hr service. Sick animals do not understand 9-5. They have a monthly payment plan which includes annual checks, claw cutting (best of luck when they need those doing) vaccinations and flea treatments. It was a no brainer so I went for that and saved myself £200 straight away. My vet was Tracey and she was excellent, a great bedside manner with the cats and was very professional. She registered their previous notes and will contact their previous vets to get their records. Tracey is a cat owner so she was very used to my feline companions. I am sure all the vets are great with cats but I felt she had an affinity with them. Hopefully we will only see Tracey for their annual checks but if it’s more than that I am sure they will be in good hands.

I could not feel safer knowing that the staff at medivet look after my boy. They call me and they let me chat about him when he is in their care even if I'm off topic. He's been admitted 3 times and every time I call they get me in without any issues. I only moved to the area in October 2024. I have a dog who is register with a different vet and I'm going to move her to medivet as they truly are amazing. Thank you
