Very exceptional service

I am in absolute awe and complete gratitude to Dr Andre at Medivet Parkstone. He has succeeded where others have attempted to help my dog with her allergies. I adopted Star with medical conditions, but the extent was dreadful. She was constantly chewing her paws, sometimes gnawing them. They were red raw and inflamed. Over the years I have tried multiple vets, used every treatment, steroid, lotion and potion. I’ve tried homeopathic remedies, Chinese medicine, I’ve changed her diet, even had her allergy tested to discover she’s allergic to food and environmental factors (not very helpful). Nothing really worked for any length of time. Then I had the delight of meeting Dr Andre, whom Star is now in love with and I sometimes feel she would run off with. He tried a combination of a steroid and using her own blood to get her own immune system to kick into action. We’ve been doing this for a few months now and it’s is working. She hasn’t had a steroid injection for 8 weeks now, she’s not chewed her paws for ages, her coat is amazing, she’s not getting ear infections. I am so happy, as is Star. This approach seems to me to be pioneering in the field. I know that there are a lot of dogs with allergies and people who are at their wits end like I was. All I can say is that Dr Andre’s ideas, theories and research has paid off for us. If you are in a similar situation I would 💯 recommend you try out the treatment. Dr Andre and indeed all the team at Medivet Parkstone are amazing. They have treated all my rescue pets over the years, demonstrating compassion, kindness and empathy every step of the way. The reception team deserve a special mention to as they are so accommodating, especially when my two dogs hunt out the treats, occasionally turning over the bins (sorry). In my opinion Dr Andre is the best vet I have ever met. He is so kind and incredibly knowledgeable. He deserves an award for what he has done, I’m pretty sure this is a pioneering treatment, one that could help thousands of dogs and cats. Star and Fish rate Medivet a well deserved five paws 🐾 🐾🐾🐾🐾 and I give 5 million Stars because Dr Andre has given my Star a life free from itching, the best gift she could receive. Thank you ❤️

We have nothing but praise for the care and compassion that André and the team have shown our dog, Romy, over the last year. We never felt rushed during our monthly appointments, and André always took the time to discuss with us the options available for our elderly dog to improve his health during the later stages of his life.
