Weymouth Vets4Pets Ltd, located in Weymouth, Dorset, is a well-regarded veterinary clinic with a strong reputation for providing excellent care. The clinic boasts an impressive 4.7-star rating based on 398 reviews, suggesting a high level of customer satisfaction. This positive rating is reinforced by several glowing written reviews from clients who praise the clinic's compassionate and professional service.
Many clients highlight the attentive care provided by the veterinary team, with specific mentions of staff members like Amee and Elena, who have made significant impacts on pet health and owner peace of mind. For instance, Karl Stokes credits the clinic for saving his dog's life, while Shannon Sharpe appreciates the comprehensive treatment plan for her cat's asthma, underscoring the staff's dedication to animal welfare.
However, not all feedback is entirely positive. One reviewer, Susan Bradley, expressed concerns about the clinic's pricing practices, feeling that there is an emphasis on profit over animal care. This indicates a potential area for improvement in terms of transparency and client communication regarding treatment costs.

I would like all animal lovers to take head when taking your animals to this particular vet in Weymouth. This is the second time I've had their aggressive attitude an assumption making. My cat unfortunately had been run over whilst sleeping on a kerb which fractured his pelvis in three places. They examined him and already bought in a euthanasia form in before any x rays were conducted, because of his carm nature they were able to x ray him even though they wanted to charge for sedation when not needed! Which they then proceeded to tell me that to kill him or he needed an expensive operation of £4000! They then threatened me that if I didn't make a choice between the two they would prosecute me. They continued to harrass me, telling me that it was £4000 or they would kill my cat. Before I could get a second opinion. By the way I would like to include that my cat was eating drinking and toileting on his own as normal... But they wouldn't listen. I would like to say his story will be ready for reading on his progression of his time and care from his loving owner. This is justice for my him and coco who lost his life from their ignorant attitude as I was unaware of my rights of as an animal owner. Please always fight for what you know is right and seek further help........

Had an excellent experience with this vets, had a poorly dog whilst on holiday, they saw her within a couple of hours and the vet I had was so kind and attentive, she was very thorough with my dog and gave me lots of advice- dog is now fine and I went away with the peace of mind that she had been well cared for and was able to enjoy the rest of my holiday! Highly recommend

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Everytime we have used Weymouth Vets for Pets we have been made to feel welcomed and shown how much animals are at the forefront of their passions. In particular want to give a massive thank you for our vet, Elena, who has been on a journey with our cat Arlo who has feline Asthma! From the get go, we were treated with such kindness and compassion! Now, almost a year later, Arlo is doing so well from the treatment plan Elena put in place. Arlo may not enjoy the vets (such a home body) but we have such gratitude for the wonderful staff here. We have also been using the Pet Plan for flea and wormer for our two cats from the moment we got them and not only it is so easy, but the reminder texts really help when life passes you by! Thank you to the team here! We appreciate you!

It's all about the money. It doesn't feel like there is any real care for the animals anymore. Even trying to get you to buy expensive flea treatments without asking about the lifestyle of your pet. And as for the eye-watering markups on the medications!!!! It should be about what's best for the animal, shouldn't it?

Such a Friendly, Professional and Caring Vets Firstly, from Jan and myself, a massive THANK YOU to all at Vets for Pets, Weymouth. Our Fox Red Labrador Archie has several ongoing issues which mean very regular visits to this practice. Without exception, Archie and ourselves are treated with the most wonderful 'happy' care and professionalism from the moment we arrive at reception. Despite having undergone numerous varied procedures, Archie so looks forward to saying hello to each super member of staff that he sees, starting at reception, nurses, vets and 'backroom staff' who all make such a lovely fuss of him! Knowing that Archie is receiving the very best of care from such lovely people gives my wife and I such peace of mind. The 'new' waiting room' provides ample space for all and together with additional consultation rooms has all been done in a very tasteful way. At their recent open day, we were shown the very comfortable 'hospital' areas and the modern equipment and systems used to aid our pets. Everything so well organised and exceptionally clean. Without hesitation, we would very highly recommend Vets for Pets Weymouth. Your pet (and you) will be in very good hands.
