This is one of the few remaining independent vets who run their own after hours surgery - it isn't farmed out to a vet mill which belongs to a giant asset manager or venture capitalist. They care about the animals. The entire team consists of professional, dedicated people who clearly love what they do, and always do what's best for my pets, not their bottom line.

Great practice. Friendly and very helpful staff. Got a visiting pup an appointment, worming for return to EU and passport signed. Highly recommend. 👌

The best service when you go there, Yazz and Donna were great today making a fuss of my boy in the waiting area. Scooby did not want to leave Donna he was quite happy sat in reception with her . Always made to feel welcome and lots of treats given to my boy.

All the vets seem very pleasant and helpful, the nurses likewise. Separate waiting area for cats/dogs works well. A nice car park at Wincanton rounds off a satisfying experience.

Had to take one of my rats to Southill as a medical emergency. I knew what the outcome was going to be but the time taken and compassion shown in explaining everything, talking me through the process and dignified end given to little Baby was exemplary. I cant thank them all, especially Vicky who had to deal with me as a blubbering mess. Cant fault them all and would very much recommend them to other rat owners. 🐀♥️
